The earliest thing I remenber

I knew Larry and I were different from an early age. We were always told our father found out our mother was having twins and could not handle it so he left. What a thing to tell children, their dad left because their mom was having you. Our grandmother and grandfather adopted us. I can remember being told our other grandmother and the doctor that delivered us both wanted us but Nannie would not let them have us. There was no much hate in our family because of this that our Uncle (brother by adoption) said he would take us somewhere and drop us on the side of the road and Nannie would never find us. What a thing to tell kids. Because of all the hate we grew up calling our parents Nannie and Papa instead of MOM and DAD. To this day I call my mother by her first name Annette.
